Buyer Protection & Liability
Who you are actually buying from, what we are responsible for, and when the condition of an item becomes yours.
Version 2026-09-09 · In force from Tuesday, September 8, 2026
1. Who you are buying from
Z Global Finds does not own the items sold through this site. We operate the platform, take the payment, and hand the item over at our counter. Three separate parties stand behind every order:
- The consignee owns the item. They supplied it, they set its floor price, and they are the party responsible for what it is, where it came from, and the state it is in.
- The seller lists it in their own store and sets the price you pay. Every order on this site is placed through a seller's store.
- Z Global Finds runs the storefront, collects your payment, holds the stock, and completes the handover at the counter in Cebu.
- You can ask us at any time who the seller and consignee behind your order are, and we will tell you. Ask at the counter or write to us using the details at the end of this page.
2. Prices differ between sellers, and that is normal
The same item can be listed at different prices by different sellers, because each seller sets their own price above the consignee's floor. There is no single catalogue price, and we do not publish a price comparison between sellers.
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Our server re-reads and locks every price and quantity at the moment your order opens, so the total charged is the total the server computed — not a figure carried from your browser.
3. Placing an order holds stock, it does not buy it
When you check out we hold your items for 8 minutes while your payment goes through. If payment does not complete within that window the hold is released, the items go back on sale, and your order is cancelled automatically.
Nothing is reserved for you before payment. During a live sale the last unit goes to whoever pays for it first, and an order that loses that race is refused rather than accepted and then unwound.
4. Payment
Online orders are paid by GCash transfer to Z Global Finds' own wallet. Checkout shows our GCash QR; you pay in your GCash app, then submit the transfer's reference number and a screenshot before the hold runs out.
A person at our counter verifies every payment against the wallet itself — the reference number and the exact amount both have to match your order before it is confirmed. If you mistyped the reference, you can correct it from your order page, at most three times.
Submitting a reference or screenshot that is not a genuine transfer for your order is treated as a fake payment. A fake payment counts heavily against your account's standing, and an account with repeated fake payments is closed — see section 12.
We do not offer cash on delivery, and we cannot reserve an item against a promise to pay at the counter later. If you paid and are unsure of the status, open the order from My Orders — it shows the live status.
5. Collection at our counter
Every online order is collected in person at our shop in Cebu. The price you pay online is for the items only — it never includes delivery.
If you would rather have your order brought to you, message us on the order after you have paid and we will try to arrange a rider. Delivery is a courtesy we arrange by hand, one order at a time — not a service we guarantee, and not something you can select or pay for at checkout. Any rider's fee is agreed and settled with us directly, separately from the price you paid online.
We ask for an address on your account so that we can arrange this when you ask, and so we can reach you about an order. We do not pass it to the seller or the consignee.
Bring your order number. Counter staff will bring out your items so you can look at them before you accept them.
A paid order waits at the counter for 14 days from the day we mark it ready. We remind you in the app every day it waits, and on day 13 we email you a final notice. A pickup missed past the 14th day counts against your account's standing — the items are still yours, so contact us to arrange a late collection.
6. Inspect before you accept — this is where responsibility passes
Check the item at the counter before you take it. This is the point to raise anything wrong: the wrong item, the wrong size, visible damage, or something that does not match the listing. While you are still at the counter, it is our problem to sort out with the seller and consignee.
When you accept the item, the handover is recorded — either you tap Order Received on your own order, or counter staff record the handover for you. From that moment the item is in your possession and its condition is no longer something Z Global Finds observes or controls.
This does not cancel your rights under section 9. It marks the point at which we stop being able to see the item, not the point at which the law stops applying.
7. Condition and authenticity are the consignee's
Z Global Finds does not inspect, test, grade, authenticate, restore, or certify the items sold through this platform. We hold no record of an item's condition, age, or authenticity, and we make no representation about any of them.
Descriptions, photographs, measurements, and any claim about a brand, material, or origin come from the consignee who owns the item and the seller who lists it. If a claim about an item matters to your decision, ask before you pay, and inspect it at the counter before you accept it.
We give no warranty of our own — express or implied — as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or authenticity. The consignee, as owner and supplier, is the warranting party.
8. What we are responsible for
We are responsible for the parts of the transaction we actually run: taking your payment correctly, charging the amount shown, holding the stock we said we held, keeping an accurate record of your order, handing over the items on that order, and identifying the seller and consignee behind it when you ask.
We are not responsible for the condition, quality, authenticity, safety, or fitness of the items themselves, for a seller's description of them, or for how an item performs or wears after you have accepted it.
9. Your rights under Philippine law are not waived
Nothing on this page removes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) or any other law that applies to you. In particular, your statutory warranty against hidden defects — a fault that existed at the time of sale and that inspection would not reasonably have revealed — survives your acceptance of the item, and cannot be signed away.
If you believe an item you bought has a hidden defect, contact us with your order number as soon as you notice it. There is no automated returns process on this site: a person handles it. We will identify the seller and the consignee, put the claim to them, and help you reach a resolution — repair, replacement, or a refund of what you paid, as the circumstances and the law require.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may bring the matter to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Nothing here requires you to come to us first.
10. If we take your payment and cannot supply the item
It is rare, but it can happen: a payment clears just after the stock hold lapsed, and the item has already gone to someone else. When that occurs your order is flagged in our system as unfulfillable, and it is handled by a person at the counter — we will contact you, and you will be refunded the full amount you paid.
There is no automatic refund button on this site today. The refund is arranged manually and returned through the same payment method you used, so please keep your order number.
11. Cancelling an order
You can cancel an order yourself at any time before it is paid — open it under My Orders and choose Cancel. The hold is released immediately.
Once payment has cleared, you cannot cancel the order in the app. Contact us or come to the counter with your order number, and we will deal with it as a case, together with the seller and consignee.
12. Account standing
Buying here works on trust that runs both ways, and your account carries a standing that reflects it. Letting a payment hold lapse, leaving a paid order uncollected past the 14-day window, or submitting a fake payment each counts against that standing — a lapsed hold only lightly, a fake payment heavily.
An account whose standing runs out is restricted or closed. We never strand your goods: an account that is still owed a paid, uncollected order is restricted rather than closed until that order is resolved.
When an account is closed for repeated fake payments, every order of theirs still pending is cancelled on the spot and treated as an unverified payment — even if one of them was genuine. Two proven fakes end the benefit of the doubt for the rest of the queue; a genuinely paid amount caught in that sweep is dealt with at the counter, as a case.
